JOB SUMMARY
A key member of the mgmt team, the HR Director for the SouthEast Asia will be responsible for the formulation and implementation of sound HR policies in line with regional business goals and growth objectives of the organization as well as in tandem with industry practice.


KEY ROLES AND LEADERSHIP
Proactively is the strategic business partner to the mgmt of SouthEast Asia area. This includes planning resourcing to meet overall business plan, developing recruiting strategies and working to creatively and effectively maintain the teaming spirit among mgmt team members.

In concert with the area mgmt and regional team, take leadership in facilitating change in organization when required and effectively managing employee relation issues arising from change; act as a catalyst to propel the entire workforce towards desired change and growth.

Developed & approved recruiting strategies and in collaboration with Asia Pacific Regional HR, conduct staffing and recruit + best-fit, candidates through various channels on a timely manner.

Establish a performance mgmt initiative to align SouthEast Asia Area with existing and/or new Regional programme. This will include, in consultation with and approval of the area mgmt team and Regional HR Managing Director, setting realistic goals and measurement, maintaining a current tracking system for appropriate end of year reward and recognition.

Constantly review, modify if necessary, current compensation and benefit program to ensure it's viable and appropriate for purpose of fairness, internal equity and external competitiveness.

Formulate and implement HR policies, as well as acting as custodian of these policies, in South-East Asia Area of which these policies should be comparable if not better than local practices of similar industry. These policies should also encompass those set out for compliance in the statutory legislation including The Employment Act. Set up systems to monitor and maintain currency of the policies.

Promote excellent employee relations and employee advocacy. Be responsible in narrowing the gap, between mgmt and employee.

This position will be HR Business Partner for the Southeast region and will be located in Singapore. This position will manage all aspects of Human Resources for this region. The ideal candidate should have thorough knowledge of all aspects of HR, ideally in a fast-paced high technology environment. Specific knowledge and experience should be in the areas of:

  1. Formulates and develops the region's strategic human resources policies and procedures.
  2. Managing the Southeast region Human Resource functions assisting in the development and implementation of corporate initiatives and policies.

Requirements:

10 plus years of Human Resources experience with proven management and leadership skills. College degree or equivalent work experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You will enable our clients to achieve maximum advantage by conceiving and implementing innovative people strategies and organisational development solutions to ensure their continued growth and success.

Candidates should have 4 or more years' experience in human resource management, development and/or information systems. Your background should include in-depth knowledge of the following areas of organisational effectiveness: change management, organisational transitions and the development of human resource management and development strategies including organisation design, performance management, training and career development, manpower planning and retention.

The amount of relevant experience you have determines your qualification for Manager or Senior-level positions. Besides a strong-client service orientation, you must be capable of managing projects preferably on a large-scale basis and delivering quality solutions. Managers are in addition expected to develop, market and promote our services. The ability to relate and work with people of all levels is required. Experience in a consulting environment is an added advantage.
